This website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. The only personal data collected is what you type into the newsletter form yourself.

What is collected, and why

If you subscribe, the form collects your first name and email address.
They are used for one purpose only: sending you news about Maximilien, development notes and the release announcement.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (GDPR, article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time.

Your address is never sold, rented or passed on for any other purpose.

Server logs

Like any website, this one is served by a host that keeps technical logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. They exist for security and troubleshooting, they are generated by the host and not by this site, and they are not used to build any profile.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. No analytics, no advertising, no social widgets. The trailer is hosted on this site rather than embedded from a video platform, and the interactive map is served from this site as well — so no third party is contacted when you browse these pages.

Who else sees your data

The newsletter is operated by Brevo (Brevo SAS, France), acting as a data processor. Your first name and email address are stored on their servers within the European Union. See Brevo's privacy policy.

Website hosting is provided by HOSTINGER operations UAB (Lithuania), also within the European Union.

No data is transferred outside the European Union.

How long it is kept

Your subscription details are kept until you unsubscribe, and at most three years after your last interaction with a message. After that they are deleted.

Server logs are kept for the duration set by the host, generally no more than twelve months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may at any time request access to your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, or withdraw your consent.

To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of any message. Your details are removed from the mailing list as soon as the request is processed.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Children

This website is not intended for children under 15. No subscription should be made by a child under that age without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date. Substantial changes affecting subscribers will be announced by email.
